SPINACH CAULIFLOWER DO- PIYANZA
Today I am going to share with you all a healthy and tasty recipe. Though the recipe is not at all mine it is my mother’s recipe. Though I am not a great spinach lover but I like this particular recipe a lot.
Spinach is rich with vitamins, magnesium, potassium and specially with iron which is essential for women. It helps to prevent cancer, asthma and helps to decrease blood pressure. It’s a great source for healthy skin and hair.
Cauliflower—one middle size
Spinach:– 250 gm (paste)
Tomato:– 75-100 gm
Onion:– 250 gm (paste)
Garlic:– 4-5 pieces (paste)
Ginger:– 10-15 gm (paste)
Chili:– 2-3 pieces
Salt:– as per taste
Turmeric:– according to taste
Refine oil:– 50-75 gm
Garam Masala:— as per taste
Ghee:–1 tea spoon
At first cut the cauliflower in big size and boil it with a pinch of salt and turmeric.
Then drained out the water and heat the oil in a pan and fry the pieces of cauliflower in oil.
Then take out the cauliflower from the oil and keep aside.
Then add a pinch of sugar, pinch of chili powder and the paste of onion, ginger and garlic in the oil. Now stir the mixture until the oil from the mixture come out.
Then add the fried cauliflower and the pieces of tomato into the mixture.
Then again stir the mixture for a minute. When the color of the mixture will be golden brown add cashew, raisin and the spinach paste in to them. Stir it for a moment. Finally add some water and cover the pan and leave it for a moment.
After some time open the lid and add one tea spoon of ghee and garam masala.
At last sprinkle some fried onion into it and your recipe is ready. Serve it with steamed rice or roti.
